Through our special relationship with the Prague Security Studies Institute in the Czech Republic, the organization places emphasis on programs focused on advancing transatlantic security and illuminating emerging threats to the free world residing within the economic & financial, cyber, and space domains.
PSSI Washington (PSSIW) was founded in early 2002 by Roger Robinson, former Senior Director of International Economic Affairs at the Reagan National Security Council and Chairman of the Congressional U.S. – China Economic and Security Review Commission, alongside Oldřich Černý, former Director of Foreign Intelligence and National Security Advisor to former Czech President Václav Havel.
PSSI Washington works closely with the Prague Security Studies Institute in the Czech Republic (PSSI Prague), to advance a shared vision of allied security interests and preserve hard-fought freedoms of post-communist states, particularly those aspiring for genuine democratic governance.
With a partnership presence in both, Washington D.C. and Prague, PSSI Washington contributes to the public policy debate on both sides of the Atlantic, and simultaneously encourages connectivity with the allied security community of the Asia-Pacific region.
PSSI Washington is currently focused on the rather unique and subtle security policy challenges present in the economic & financial, and space security domains.
