Roger W. Robinson, Executive Director

Roger Robinson is President and CEO of Conflict Securities Advisory Group Inc., a Washington, DC-based risk management company specializing in global security risk.

For over 30 years, Mr. Robinson has been assessing the intersection of global finance and national security concerns. He was formerly Senior Director of International Economic Affairs at the National Security Council and Executive Secretary of the Cabinet-level Senior Inter-Governmental Group for International Economic Policy (SIG-IEP).

Prior to his government service, Mr. Robinson was a Vice President in the International Department of the Chase Manhattan Bank with responsibilities for the bank’s loan portfolios in the former Soviet Union, Eastern and Central Europe and Yugoslavia.

From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Robinson served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Congressionally-mandated U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission. He co-founded the Prague Security Studies Institute in early 2002 and incorporated PSSI Washington Inc. in October 2006.

Mr. Robinson earned his MA in International Affairs at the Elliott School of George Washington University and a BA from Duke University.

Jana Kosarkova, Director

Jana Kosarkova is presently serving as Acting Director of PSSI Washington Inc., an affiliate of the Prague Security Studies Institute (PSSI) in Prague.

She also continues to serve as Development Manager for PSSI Prague with primary responsibility for PSSI's global fundraising activities. Prior to joining PSSI, Ms. Kosarkova served as a Czech court-appointed interpreter and headed a private translation, interpretation and consulting company focused on commercial transactions with the Asia-Pacific region.

She earlier held the position of Assistant Director of the Chinese Trade and Cultural Agency and a staff member of the Taipei Cultural and Economic office in Prague.

She holds a BA and MA degree from Palacky University in Olomouc, Czech Republic and studied one year at Shanghai University in the People’s Republic of China. Ms. Kosarkova is presently a Master’s Degree candidate at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University, specializing in Asian Studies and international security issues.
